Mane
Mane (মানে) started with a simple idea: make word lookup faster for Bangla speakers without forcing them to switch between different dictionary modes. The app brings English to Bangla, Bangla to English, and Banglish search into one focused place, so the path from typing to meaning stays short.
It is published by Sumonon and built for people who want a dictionary that feels practical, readable, and ready for everyday use. Instead of turning search into a separate task, Mane keeps the experience close to the way people actually study and translate words.
The idea
What began as a simple dictionary lookup tool grew into a broader study companion. As the app developed, it kept the core search flow fast while adding the parts that matter after the first lookup: definitions, examples, saved words, and review-friendly organization.
That shape still defines Mane today. It is not trying to be everything at once. It is trying to be the easiest place to reach the meaning, understand it, and keep it for later.
In use
Mane is built around offline-friendly dictionary access, Banglish search, study scan flows, and vocabulary practice. Those parts work together so someone can search a word, understand it, and return to it later without losing momentum.
The result is a dictionary app that stays close to daily use. It is useful in class, while reading, while revising, and whenever a quick meaning needs to turn into something memorable.
